My name is Grant Lane and I am an overnight RN here at Premier a few times each month. I started as a bedside nurse at Carolinas Medical Center after I graduated nursing school. I live in Lake Wylie, SC so when I'm not at work you can find me out on the lake or traveling to Disney World with my family.
I am from Dayton, Tennessee and I received my Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Tennessee. I came to North Carolina as an emergency room travel nurse. I loved the emergency room where I was assigned and continued to renew my contract. Where I eventually met my husband, so my 3 month contract has turned into 16 years. During that time I have worked in the emergency room for several years then I moved to transport nursing where I transported ICU and ER patients to hospitals that had a higher level of care or that were specialized for that patient. After 11 years in transport I returned back to the ER as a night shift supervisor and then decided to "semi-retire". I still love to travel, especially with my 2 dogs and I still love my Tennessee Volunteers, college football, Atlanta Braves baseball, and almost anything outdoors.
