Breast Implant Removal

Patient Details

Double-lumen (part silicone/part saline) implants placed by another surgeon 26 years prior to seeing me. The outer saline component had ruptured on both sides. I performed a removal of her implants along with a complete capsulectomy (removal of the scar tissue capsule that surrounds the implants). She is seen 3 months post-op. (Note: her ribs have sunken due to the pressure of her implants against her ribs for so many years. This is common with under the muscle implants.)
